We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team. This position will be responsible for creating, posting, and monitoring content on all social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You will work closely with internal and external Marketing, Business Development, HSE, and Organization Development teams to create content that engages our audience, build brand awareness, and drives business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms.
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with online communities to maintain a positive brand presence.
- Analyze social media trends, user behavior, and engagement metrics to adjust strategies and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, sales, etc.) to ensure alignment of social media initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and trends.
- Run paid social media campaigns and analyze results to improve ROI.
- Manage the social media content calendar to ensure consistent posting.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and partners in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Experience working in the Petrochemical industry a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.).
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Creative and detail-oriented with strong graphic design skills (familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for staying on top of the latest social media trends and digital marketing developments.
- Experience running paid social media ads is a plus.
