UPS Industrial Services is seeking a talented and creative Marketing Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns and creating, posting, and monitoring content on all social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to enhance brand awareness and engagement. You will work closely with internal and external Marketing, Business Development, HSE, and Organization Development teams to create content and execute marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns through multiple platforms including email, social media, digital, and print.
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with online communities to maintain a positive brand presence.
- Assist with event planning, coordination, logistics, and management.
- May participate in events to communicate with vendors, staff, and attendees.
- Analyze social media trends, user behavior, and engagement metrics to adjust strategies and optimize performance using tools like Google Analytics, CRM software, and others.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Organization Development, HSE, Recruiting, and others) to ensure alignment of social media, digital, print and event initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify and stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the latest social media best practices, tools, customer insights, and competitor strategies.
- Support SEO and SEM efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and partners in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 2 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in digital marketing.
- Proficiency in marketing software tools such as Google Analytics and CRM platforms.
- Experience working in the Petrochemical industry a plus.
- Understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising.
- Must have effective communication (written and verbal), organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Specialist, Marketing Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.).
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Creative and detail-oriented with strong graphic design skills (familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
