UPS Industrial Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dimensional Control / Industrial Measurement Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and surveys of industrial structures, piping and components to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional control surveys using advanced measurement equipment and techniques.
  • Conduct on-site measurements of industrial structures, machinery, and components.
  • Analyze and interpret measurement data to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of survey results.
  • Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to provide measurement support and solutions.
  • Maintain and calibrate measurement equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all measurement activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve measurement-related issues as they arise.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in measurement technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of field experience in the petrochemical industry.
  • Must be familiar with piping isometrics, P&ID’s and reading general equipment and layout drawings.
  • Proven experience in dimensional control and industrial measurement surveying.
  • Proficiency in using measurement equipment such as total stations and laser scanners.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Proficient using Leica instruments is desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
